//Hey guys I don’t usually ask for much but if any of you can vote for my friend it would be much appreciated by both me and herself
The new Call of Duty steals the story of the 2011 first-person shooter Homefront and, in part, the movie that inspired it. http://goo.gl/XJNRu8 #Playistic
//There are a few flaws to this article that really doesn’t sit well with me. A few things, the five points this person tries to convince people that it is a rip off of Homefront. I disagree, my reasons are that most action and war-fiction stories tend to take tropes that work with other films, or big things in the real world to ask what if? Case in point the whole big conflict in the Middle East. The US has fighting for Oil over god knows how long, its a rich oil area, now if say the oil fields were crippled it would do some serious damage to the US economy and the economies of other places too. Both are plot points for the game Homefront and Ghosts, it was also a major plot point for the Tom Clancy game EndWar.
The second point, in Homefront the US is crippled by an EMP attack from a Satellite and in Ghosts you have the US Crippled by Kinetic Rod Strikes from the ODIN Defense Platform. Stuff like this has been done in other things as well, the GoldenEye weapon from the James Bond film, Moonraker (which the level Loki seems to have taken heavy inspiration from)
to save a whole schpeal on the other points is, any movie/game/story that has been made has taken ideas, given a different spin on them to make it different from the other one. Its gonna be done, its still going to happen, nothing is gonna change that. Its like getting mad at Iron Man for ripping off Batman. Same similar character, Billionaire builds a suit with a shit ton of gadgets to fight crime, but there are differences to set the story apart from one another.
I dunno if the opinions vary on this but, Roger Craig Smith is a rather enjoyable Batman. I would much like to hear him do more in the role. Though I found it a smidgen bit funny, I made a Dark Knight Rises-esq trailer of Resident Evil 6 and had Chris Redfield whom Roger Craig Smith voices as Batman. Then a few months later I hear that he’s gonna be voicing Batman in this. I just find that to be ironic.

Batman Arkham Origins, got it for my birthday and I’m enjoying every minute of gameplay. It plays a lot like Arkham City which I would say its more of an expansion pack, but its well done in my opinion.
